Aww, what a great photo! Congratulations to Hermione! (The first Hermione I ever knew -- you were calling her that long before I read the Harry Potter books. Then I read the Harry Potter books and said "a-ha!").

The color-coordination is quite nice by the way. I like how the little flourishes on Hermione's gown match the Lovely Bride's dress.

They call them "crows' feet" and the color represents the subject of the
degree. Everywhere else in the US, that would be on the trim of the hood.
But Harvard does what Harvard does.

Six of my Wandel cousins visiting the grave of my grandparents, Wilhelm and Bertha Wandel in Duisburg, Germany. My grandfather was born in 1869 and my grandmother was born in 1878. They had eleven children. Today, they have over ninety grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Thank you, yep that's what he calls it, an Eskimo kiss. I have him every other weekend and the whole month of August. From now until August he'll be in daycare, he's out of school for the summer.
