Since some can't come to the meeting at my place in two weeks, since it really looks pretty, especially in springtime, I'll post some photos here.
All were taken two days ago [Nikon F 80, with Sigma lenses (17-35mm f2.8-4 / 28-70mm f2.8 / 70-200mm f2.8 )] within a range of 5 minutes walking from our apartment.

This is the closest to our's: our local 'Kur Theater':
(Bad Waldliesborn is a so-called 'Kurort'. A Kurort is a resort for preventative medicine, recovery, and/or cure. Bad Waldliesborn is a thermal spa. Going to a spa or Bad is also covered by [Austrian and German] health insurance plans. A doctor may prescribe eine Kur.)
Until about 50 years ago, people stayed in houses like those below for their Kur:
105 years ago, some people tried to find coal here, a place with just a couple of farms. But instead of 'black gold' they found a couple of salty, but healthy sources.
On the photo below, you can see one of the pumphouses and a half a 'Headgear Pulley', the latter from a real coal mine in the Ruhr district.
