Annie visited her Chinese grandparents in July and of course had her picture taken at the Great Wall.

Oh look at that Annie cutie is growing! That must have been quite an experience
for her, wandel. Was this her first trip to China and does she speak Chinese?
Annie is getting better at speaking and writing Chinese all the time, CJane. Every Saturday for the last four years she has been attending a Chinese language school for children. My wife visits her parents at least once a year and always takes Annie with her. I went along one year and I also walked on the Great Wall.
Hah, just like mine is going Saturdays to German lessons! It will be such
an enrichment for Annie to speak Chinese - not only to her grandparents but
also later on in her career. You're doing the right thing, wandel!

Is that the roof line of a house, George?
Will he be feeding all of you on Thanksgiving?

That's great. I'm always insisting that Nee speak Thai to Thalia, and once she goes to school, she'll be learning Chinese as well.

Is that restaurant in UTC? There was one just like that there, that I never bothered to learn the name of but that I used to eat at a lot.
You're talking about El Torito, aren't you?
This one is on La Jolla Blvd. and called Su Casa - I like it and it's closer to
my house.
Yeah, I think that's the one, but never really bothered to note their name.
You must live near one of my favorite spots on earth. I used to park right here, and then go down the stairs to the coast walk and down on to the park.
Sometimes I even used to go work at the beach there. It's one of my favorite spots, and one of the things I miss about San Diego.
BC (before child) I used to live right on Coast Blvd. but the constant noise in the summer months got to me, so we moved up to Mt. Soledad. The marine layer doesn't hit us up here when the village is fogged in.
I agree with Robert. The beauty of the two women is obvious. Everybody is asking about the location instead. Now, maybe we should start a discussion about the margarita.
