You'd love my current screensaver, Soz. It is all of my Abuzz/A2K vacation folders running as a slide show. One of the things about XP that I actually like.

Sometimes when I'm on the phone, I just sit and watch all the pix zoom on and off the screen.

I think this thread has proven to have more positives than negatives ...for me at least. I get the feeling everyone has tried to say something about everyone. Naturally in life some people get more comments than others, but it may also be because someone knows a certain username/personality more than another one.

I think the user(s) who post their picture are aware of the obvious and post their pic ...taking that risk. Thankfully it is not a requirement to post one. I would hate for these threads not to exist at all. that way they can remain who they want to pretend to be ...or hide the things they are if they so choose to.

If the thread turned ugly and a user started to flame someone for their looks, then the thread should be locked. Otherwise, this has been such a joy to be a part of (or just watch on).

And I'll add that there are many who have signed up for a2k who wouldn't post a picture if they could, for their own temerity re their sense of being accepted.

And I want everybody who worries on that to not worry.

osso, frankly I don't understand what the problem is.
No one is forced to show their picture and no on has made
comments if they don't.

Neither do I think that people feel pressured into showing
their photos. My intentions were clearly outlined at
the beginning. If someone takes offense in this than she or
he should not post a picture, it's not mandatory.

I do not see any negativity in showing a face to its
respectable user name.

Are you afraid that one person could be more popular due to
their looks? Alone from reading different postings at ak2,
I'm drawn to some people more than others, and this has
absolutely nothing to do with their outer appearance. It has
everything to do with their written personality.

In this moment of humility, feeling so exposed, I'd like to add that my comments concerning ugly people were purely in jest.

It is okay to be ugly, provided you have a lot of money.

Do you not know that we are not all dreamy looking? Do you not have any clue people could worry about not being, er, sexy?

Most of the responses are about how cute/sexy etc anyone is. This is a wider world here, and I for one am interested in wider angles.
