I don't wear white pants either. Or white tights. Just a logistics question. Like, if I wear brown shoes and black pants, should I wear purple socks or yellow?
Brown shoes with black pants, why would you do that? See, I always wear black shoes with black pants. Wear brown shoes either with khakis, or jeans and brown shirt/jacket.
Well, actually I don't. I have just bought myself some brown shoes to go with my new brown winter coat. I have a brown belt as well. I wear blue jeans and have one pair of pale green cords. I do have a pair of grey pants which I don't know how to handle. Brown coat, belt and shoes, grey pants, what color socks?
Grey socks, I think. Aren't you supposed to match the socks to the pants? Unless it's jeans, then match to the shoes?
I can't turn this stuff on like a switch, I have to be in the moment.
I am not able to get in the moment on the sock issue unfortunately. My sister shakes her head at my 'style'. The problem is that I only ever wore blue jeans for the longest time and now I'm throwing other colors into the mix. And I haven't had a pair of brown shoes since high school.
Depends on the shoes a bit. I usually go with the same color unless I really want to draw attention to the shoes.
Meanwhile, I agree with what Osso was saying, the whole "aren't you gorgeous" thing in terms of people who worry they aren't.
yeah, I tend to usually not like to 'do' these threads (crushes and sexy a2kers threads too) because someone will always feel left out.
Well the picture thread isn't like the stupid crush threads, it is cool to see the different people However, I'll tell you if anyone's looking for a compliment, post a picture on A2K. EVERYONE'S just gorgeous!!!
The ugly people will feel left out.
But they deserve it, because one's outer appearance reflects one's moral character.
I live by this idea, and I am handsome; I think my picture is on page 14 of this thread, if there's any question about that.
BTW: white tights and black, suede rollerskates isn't a fashion faux-pas, is it? It's ALL I wear on weekdays.

Soz is gorgeous and young, though she does has an official disability; I'm among the oldest, certainly near the top of those posting regularly, and I insist I am not different than you, get over it, I am just not that different.
We have people posting here much older than me, who is to them sort of middling, and we have people just grasping on to the internet, and maybe they can, or maybe they can't post their own pictures for many various reasons.
Let us not all in the US go off fluming about a smiling blond among us.
Or, ok, we can acknowledge our smiling blond, but cannot we open our brains to the wide range of people who have actually previously checked into a2k???

Gargamel, you're half right. It's not that the outer shell reflects character, rather than it's a proven fact that ugly people don't have feelings, so it's ok to point and mock.
I ain't too good lookin but I'm sweet and kind. I don't have anything to hide cause I'm not looking to hook up with anybody. I love Osso as much as littlek, as much as CJ...in fact I love all the women here that interact with me but I don't care what they look like. I don't care what the guys look like either and they don't care what i look like, I'm sure.

Completely agree with the "surely you're kidding?" re: people being treated differently based on how they look. Yes, they are, period.
Yeah, about "doing" these threads. Also about commenting. I feel like as soon as I make a comment about anyone I need to make a comment re: everyone because if I don't the absence raises a question. ("Why was nothing said about me?")
A bit after I posted my picture, though it was fun to do so, I remembered/ realized that part and went uh-oh.
What I would love most is if I could somehow get a slide show of every single A2K'er I've ever interacted with and just silently click through with no comment. I'm interested, for a lot of reasons -- Slappy obtained an entirely different dimension somehow when I saw him, it's oddly satisfying that jpin looks so close to what I expected, etc., etc. -- but one of the things that are cool about these kinds of forums is to interact without all of that instant judgement stuff that happens IRL -- age, race, gender, beauty or lack thereof, etc.
