Yeah, well I never could get into hunting. Still, I love elk and slow-roasted javalena.

I couldn't find the video posting thread.

This was done by a couple of Asian tourists. All places where I've grown up. It starts out at Wollongong harbour, and the new lighthouse overlooking south beach, then moves down to Kiama (the town where I went to high school), with a few shots of the blowhole on a small swell day.

Wilso's video reminded me of Winged Migration, a film I just watched yesterday. Cant' believe I didn't see it when it first came out.

I'm so glad this thread is still going.

Annie with the bug... I might have done that at her age, but certainly not now. (ewww!) She's adorable!

Hey, shouldn't we have a new Wilso / Wilsolina soon?

OK shewolf, you just made up for that disgustingly pornographic photo you posted on the other site.

Talk about beauty. My god, I didn't realize how much she has grown.

Yeppers, you just made me appreciate the day and that lovely work of creation you and Ian were kind enough to give to the world. I will be content to dwell on that from now on.

No Walter, Hofbraeuhaus! They had 400 year anniversary when we were
there, the beer and food cost only 4 Euro for the day.

Ah, I've only been for a couple of minutes in the Hofbräuhaus, ages ago.

So, all you can drink and eat for 4€ Laughing (No, I got it correctly.)

People would have trampled us if that were the case.
Most tourist were interested in buying souvenirs though, and beer and
Schweinshaxn was more for the locals.

my "hometown" for 25+ years of my life .
picture shows the ferry docks ; the QUEEN MARY II is in drydock on the other side of the river - left side of picture , reddish funnel .

http://www.tatsachen-ueber-deutschland.de/fileadmin/festplatte/deutsch/bilder/02_bundeslaender/02_06_Hamburg.jpg

my "hometown" for the last 50+ years .
harbour is now for pleasure craft and tourships only - city hall on upper left .
when we arrived in kingston in the mid-50's it was still a busy commercial harbour for grain shipments , but after the "st. lawrence seaway" openend , ships would move directly from the upper great lakes to montreal , quebec city and oversea ports .

Roberta: summer in the city must have been nice a few years back.
hamburger, you still need the waterfront, don't you?

whow H2O_Man, is that your daughter? She's very pretty, but I doubt that you ever get her married off with that rifle in her hands Wink
Your dog is very cute, looks a bit frightening though.

CalamityJane, to my knowledge I have no kids roaming this earth - there's still time though.

Ashley is the daughter of a friend, she is 24, married and a crack shot.
Homer J looks frightening in that shot, but he's one of the sweetest dog I've known.

The photo I posted was taken in the Catskill Mountains. I never spent the summer in the city until I was an adult. And summers in the city are never nice. I don't like the heat.
