Oh Raboida, that is so sweet. I know you claim you are not sweet, but you yourself just posted proof.

Adorable!

Snarl, grrrrrrrrr.

NOT SWEET. Take a good look at that picture. That's a bonditt. Not a sweetie. (At least that's what my mother, grandmother, and aunt called me.) Maybe my father and grandfather thought I was sweet. Men, what do they know?

OK, now you've gotta tell me what a bonditt is.

And I disagree, what did your mother, grandmother and aunt know? Only what they wanted to know but didn't. You never gave them the pleasure of getting married at 18 and having loads of kids and they never forgave you for it. What do women (at least of that generation) know? Bupkis.

I'm not sure I can give you an accurate definition of bonditt. I think it means something like a little devil or dickens.

Diane, I'm feeling a little uncomfortable that we're hijacking the thread. One final sentiment. I'm not sweet.

Roberta imo you are not hijacking the thread if you are commenting on the picture you posted by answering questions about it. I think it is a nice photo.

Okay, TTH. Not an official hijack. But a sidetrack--kinda.

BTW, Diane knows how to push my buttons. She knew absolutely without any doubt that she would get a rise out of me by saying I was sweet. She does it all the time. She likes pissing me off--but in a nice way.

Roberta I don't want to piss you off so I won't say you are sweet. I love the way you post and use the word "kid".

Here is a picture of the scar that I have after having surgery on my right lung. Since the left lung surgery was done
through the front I won't be posting any pictures of that scar. I think the surgeon did a pretty good job. The scar runs
almost all the way to the middle of my back.

Diane I use the self tanning cream- it works great. They also have a spray I use. I will make a post so others can see the results of how tan it can make someone.

That is what happens when you have to have your tear duct re-constructed.
The surgeon said she had never seen that in someone my age (usually older people have their tear ducts clogged somewhat, you know where their eyes tear)

For me it was like crying constantly - the fluid from my eye was running down my face like a faucet was turned on. I felt like an idiot having to walk around with paper towels against my eye until they could do the surgery Laughing Laughing The reason I laugh is because I get the weirdest things and have to have surgery.

Yikes, TTH. Hope you're feeling better now.

Roberta, great photo. ehBeth said after meeting you that you could be my aunt -- the photo certainly reinforces that. Looks a lot like me as a kid, and your aunt looks eerily like my grandma. (To the point of doing a double-take -- if your aunt is my grandma, maybe we ARE related! But no. Just a distinct resemblance.)

Here's a picture of me at about the same age I think (as Roberta's pic). I don't look as tough and Brooklyn as her tho. ;-))

You look like a cast member of The Little Rascals, Soz.

Nothing wrong with that.
