I need suggestions of movies that would be equally interesting to a 24 year old german woman and a 13 year old American girl to watch. Both of them enjoyed "Cellular," slightly different opinions of "Run, Lola, Run." They will be babysitting 3 smaller children and my 13 year old thought that watching a movie might be fun, maybe... The 24 yr old is studying film (technical end) in Germany in college. Both girls are athletic, so maybe a surf movie... Or a ski/winter sport themed movie... I thought Kill Bill (both volumes) might transcend culture and is cinematically pleasing on so many levels. My daughter was being sarcastic when she suggested "Urban Legend: Final Cut." Can you think of anything which is plot driven, action packed, dialog not so important as screen image? Maybe that Vin Diesal one?

Well, if you liked the Kill Bill movies, you'll like all of the other Tarantino films. They have everything you listed in addition to great dialogue.

You might want to take a look Go, a Tarantino knock-off that's pretty entertaining, although dated. Its setting is the LA rave scene.

One that's based on a true story is Party Monster, about the Club Kids, and the New York party scene in the 90's. The film was released in 2003. There's a documentary by the same name, Party Monster: The Shockumentary, about the same people that was released in 1998. It's also pretty good.
