The talented comic who matched the talent of Sid Caesar, died today at the age of 97. She made me laugh with her over the top comedy and I wish she could have performed longer....God bless, Nanette, rest in peace. Know we loved you.

I remember seeing her signing pretty much every time she was on TV. I think those were some of the first times I had ever seen anyone use ASL.

That's riveting. I recall watching Carol Burnett but don't remember this performance at all. Just fantastic.
I have such a strong memory of her on the Mary Tyler Moore show as Mary's mother but she was only on two episodes. They definitely stuck with me.
