Somebody sent me some useful info in a PM some time back. I would like to see that info again, but only the last 12 PMs are in my Inbox. The earliest is June of 2016. Is there any way I can look farther back than the last 12 PMs?
@Blickers,
Do you mean the last 12 pm's from that person? or you've only ever received 12 pm's in total?
As I recall there is a hard limit on pm's. So if you got new pm's from other people that pushed the total past the limit - the older pm's disappear.
@ehBeth,
Off topic, but I've no argument on limiting the number of PMs stored - if, and only if, we are allowed to delete the ones we don't want to keep.
@Blickers,
i counted PM's from twenty five separate members on the
first page of my inbox, so if you only have twelve in your's than (in theory at least) those are the only twelve people who have ever PM'ed you...

this !
I would have loved to delete emails from spammers so I could have saved pm's from members who have died.
I have multiple pages of members in my inbox, 25 members per page.
The oldest entry in my inbox right now PMd me on May 6, 2006. It was their one and only PM to me, thanking me for participating in a thread of theirs. They don't name the thread, and I don't remember the thread or the person. But it may have been my first PM.
I don't PM with a lot of people though. I did PM a lot with OmSigDAVID about Second Amendment litigation when he was with us, but otherwise it is just an occasional brief exchange with other people. So I probably haven't reached the point where I have the maximum number of PMs and older ones start disappearing like others complain about happening to them.
I made a mistake. I have PMs from 12 people, when I click on some of the names, there are several PMs going back and forth.
If there is a hard limit on PMs, it can't be very much-I would guess I have less than 70 PMs total, and the ones still there are only a year and a half old at the latest. This seems kind of low.
@Blickers,
Working from an old and vague memory, I think the number is 1,500. What I don't know is whether that is inbox only or if it includes sent PMs.
@Blickers,
