In Mozilla-Firefox, is there a limit on the number of Bookmarks that one can have?

There is not an exact number which is a limit. Firefox bookmarks are stored in a file on disk. In theory this file can grow as large as the operating system allows. Some people have reported having more than 5,000 with no problems. Of course, if you mean "How many bookmarks can you cram into the Bookmarks Toolbar?" I should say not more than a couple of dozen or so, before you can't read the text any more.

@centrox,
centrox-

Thank you.

I have a large number of Bookmarks.

Now when I attempt to add a new Bookmark, I do not receive a rejection but the new one does not appear on the list. However, if I go back to that website in order to Bookmark it, there is no menu item available to click to add it.
