@Walter Hinteler,
No. Recognizing reality does not involve having a screw loose.

Apparently, those who see it that way have the one or other screw loose due to the effects of climate change.
One feels sorry for these poor people!

No. One wishes they would get swallowed up in the ever-rising tides, is what one feels.

The World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) says the signal from human-induced climate change is now as powerful as the natural El Niño effect, a natural phenomenon, which drives warmer temperatures.

It says there is a 60% chance of a neutral situation without an El Niño or its opposite, La Niña, between March and May. There is a 35% chance of an El Niño developing and 5% for a La Niña.

Press Release: WMO expects above average temperatures, but no El Niño

@oralloy,
The data on snowpack clearly show you're wrong. Bullheaded and wrong. The data keepl accumulating and you just bury your head in the sand.

@MontereyJack,
I'm not interested in what cherry-picked data shows.

Cherry-picked data can be made to show whatever the cherry picker wants it to show.

@oralloy,
There are mountains of data and you have not shown any general pattern of cherry-picking, only one specific contested point which does not hold up to subsequent daste. New data keeps piling up.

@MontereyJack,
There has been no effort to combat the cherry picking and data suppression. It was all swept neatly under the rug and forgotten. So there is no reason to think that this cherry picking and data suppression has stopped.

@oralloy,
Market forces are driving coal-fired power plants out of business. Trump keeps trying to keep them going. Just another reason to vote him out of office and restkore sanity to govt. Branco remains an idiot, as does anyone who takes his propaganda seriously..

@MontereyJack,
Coal is being driven out of business by fracked natural gas.

Once the environmental movement eliminates fracking, coal will be back.

Faulty idea that cherry picking and suppression ever started. Can't stop what doesn't exist.

@MontereyJack,
When climate journals block the publication of data that they find inconvenient, that counts as cherry picking and data suppression.

@MontereyJack,
The left's hopes of imposing socialist-style rolling blackouts on the American people are silly. The voters are not going to stand for it.

The American people are going to have their power needs met. Whether the power comes from coal, nuclear, or fracking doesn't matter. But it's going to come from somewhere.

And if the environmental movement blocks nuclear and fracking, that leaves coal.

@oralloy,
Rolling blackouts aren't particularly socialist. they come when existing power plants can't cope with ever increasing demands. Happen in capitalist countries too. Faulty logic.

@MontereyJack,
American voters are not going to stand for rolling blackouts.

If the left tries it, they'll be out of the White House for a lot longer than 20 years.

@oralloy,
You seem to be posting rolling whiteouts. You post absolutely blank posts. I notice, and then a few minuttes later you come back with a post to fill in the white space. You seem to have your own version of rolling blackouts. You filled your recent whiteout with nanother dumbr branco cartoon. branco is an idiot, people who take him seriously are duped idiots.
