@parados,
If my conclusions are false, it is because I misinterpreted the graphs I used, or because the graphs I used are now false. I did not lie.

If your conclusions are false, it is because you misinterpreted the tabulations you used, or your tabulations are now false. I do not think you lied.

More indication of global warming, that I am sure somebody will tell me is simply anecdotal evidence, that it really is getting warmer all the time, so quit worrying about freezing to death.
December 20, 2008:
Nearly 1500 cold temp records & 770 snow records set in U.S. in past week!

I wonder how long it will be before a new computer model will be emerging from the "experts?" A model that has us all dying from the cold within 20 years. Just read the following and it sort of makes you wonder:

You have been told several times that you are using the data incorrectly. You continue to use it the same way even after you have been corrected. It is no longer simply a mistake on your part ican. It is intentional.

Continuing to cherry pick a start and end date even after you have been told that is not correct is no longer a "misinterpretation" on your part.
Claiming a false trend when you have been told repeatedly that you can't figure trends simply by start and end data is no longer a "misinterpretation" on your part.

You are not "misinterpreting" the data ican. You are falsifying it. It's one thing to make a mistake. It is something else completely to continue to repeat the same mistake over and over after the mistake has been pointed out.

I admit it, I am a bigot when it comes to people falsifying data.

The truth can't be slander. You repeatedly "misrepresent" numbers. After you do it 3 or 4 times it can only be considered a lie. You have been corrected on several occasions yet you continue to repeat the same falsehoods. It is no longer a simple mistake on your part.

@okie,
Meanwhile Russia and Northern Europe are observing above average temperatures.

Your regional anecdotal evidence doesn't say much about the globe okie other than cold air from the poles goes somewhere in weather patterns but not everywhere.

Wouldn't basking in Obama's presidential glow warm the earth significantly?

No, I heard him say he would stop climate change, H2OMAN. Not just work on it, but "stop it." I know it didn't get much press, but I heard him say so in a debate, so it must be true.

Just for the record:

Obama said <quote> "I will stop climate change" <end of quote>.
And you heard that, personally and live.

Walter, perhaps this is not the correct forum to address this topic, but I would like to mention the elephant in the room. There does seem to be a dose of competitive emotions surrounding the relative importance of Europe, the U.S, etc. I have traveled in Europe, and while there the mood and information centers around Europe and the country you are in, which is totally understandable, that is the center of your universe, just as it happens here. The center of our universe is here, the U.S. Inasmuch as there is pride involved in regard to where we live, that is understandable, and I can even understand resentment for too much pride. We as Americans, I understand we are somewhat proud, brash, and may be considered to be self absorbed, materialistic, wasteful, spoiled. as well as the new kid on the block still. I understand all of that, but Europeans also have a problem with their attitudes of intellectual superiority, etc., so we all have our human weaknesses.

So I understand the information I posted only relates to here, but the fact is we are having some rather cold weather in this country, and I think this is not the only place, I have reports for Europe, China, etc. I like to post these things as anecdotal reminders that winter is still winter, the climate is not changing much at all, and besides it irritates the folks that have bought into the global warming model, hook, line, and sinker.

@okie,
Your stupidity irritates people and that is why you do it?

Thanks for that info okie. Feel free to be as stupid as you want. We will stop being irritated.

@okie,
Well, okie, I don't want to dispute the importance, greatness etc of the USA at all.

But when talking about climate change it really isn't very helpful to point at momentarily high/low temperatures in one part of the world. (Our December temperature is - again - one of the highest in record here. 30 km further south, it's the first December since years that they they can ski nearly every day in December.)

Since it's Christmas, we phoned with our relatives in Austria (two SIS's/BIL's, cousins), who live in the high mountain region of the Styrian Alps resp. the Vienna Wood. All declared that they can't remember to have so little snow around around Christmas (the oldest looking back 88 years).

Same in Sveden.

That's what I got reported - easily to verified via various webcams ...

Well, we have rain and dull grey skies all over, typical December weather for these parts of the world.

Piss off, weather!

@Walter Hinteler,
Since we are into reports of weather around the world, not too warm in China apparently:
