If we had all adopted the Chinese calendar, we wouldn't have all these problems with trying to interpret what the bible claims.

Without the bible, who would care? It'll be the year of the dog, and about the year (almost) 5,000 - no DC or AC. Smile

Thats a good point Walter, what day of the week was it when God set the ball rolling.

It wouldnt be Sunday, because thats rest day
Or Saturn Day because thats Sabbath and holy
Or Friday, (Muslim prayer day)
Mittwoch...dont think so, offesive to Woden
Thors day....well all that hammering might be a good day to start

No it boils down to Tuesday, but more likely MONDAY

start of the week. And especially for all monday fans, make it 2.4 billion years long.

So the Universe is exactly a large number multiple of weeks old this very day. Happy monday.

"Whatever day it is, it's all Bush's fault!"

Ican, I have misjudged you. You are clearly not the rabid foaming at the mouth type, my-Bushcountry-right- or-wrong type that I had thought

There goes the latent violence again.

Spendie finally got it
in a clam-bar in New York
He saw it coming through the door
as he was lifting up his fork
He pushed the table over
to protect his family

The Scorses film premieres tonight on PBS...do you get it on BBC tonight too?

I hear that one of the left's "experts" has now weighed in, so we can all relax. Barbra Streisand is telling anyone who will listen (not that many LOL) that for the United States not to be part of the Kyoto Treaty is "unforgivable" and that we're in a "global warming emergency".

Poor old thing. I bet she sleeps a lot.

Yeah. Second half tonight.

But I'll be watching Man Utd v Benfica.

BBC has been trailing the Sorcese film for what seems like weeks. It will be nice to get away from Mr Zimmerman's nasal whining.

Now,now Stee-that's no way to talk about Mr Dylan.

If you don't like Bob you must not like yourself so much. And the movie is great. What the BBC do has nothing to do with the movie.

Hey-Benfica are 6-1.The way Utd are playing that's tempting. Are Benfica useless?

Blathers-Who the hell was that John Jacob Niles? He only sang a bit of something like Don't Bother Me No More and he blew everybody away
here. It's obviously the start point for It An't Me Babe and the title line is in an '84 Euro Tour version of Simple Twist Of Fate.

I don't know, if there are left and/or right experts on this subject.

But I do look at the academic credibility. I have sincere doubts that the Streisand has got any in any subject related to this topic.
But I can be wrong, of course.

Poor ManU!

Well, she has received an honorary doctorate from Brandeis, and had delivered a lecture at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, but I think, it was you JW, who called her to be "one of the left's "experts" "?

I didnt say I didn't like Bob Dylan. I said you can have too much of the same half dozen notes projected through the same nose and mouth organ.

Benfica are 6-1 eh? I should explain to any casual observer that as the kick off is not until 7.45, you are talking betting odds and not the current scoreline.
