Im jst about to create a website for my A2 ICT course next year and im doing mine on teenage rooms and tints and hips for them, do u reckon dat dis would be useful and would people use it ?

Tiggy, a smart thing to do would be to avoid "theme" room decor. Themes don't last very long and as you age, you might outgrow them and get bored.

Also refer to my post to Della Dea re a similar decorating issue. It might give you some ideas.

U can still post things right? then just make your own designs with hot pink and black and post them. example Black squares with overlaping hot pink circles. by the way hot pink and black look AWESOME together!!

I think it's OK at 14 to do something you might not like in just a few years. You don't have to spend a lot of money, so it would be expensive to change.

jinx, if you aren't allowed to paint your walls, have you thought of this...I think it would look good for the wall behind you bed, you don't want to overdo the whole pink and black thing.....go by sheets that have a pink and black pattern you like, and stretch and staple them to the wall. That way, if you get tired of the look, down they come!

You could buy cheap throw rugs to put on the floor in a few places, like by your bed and in front of your dresser.

You can even take sheets and use them as window scarves.

Even cheaper, if you're at all handy, or know someone who can work a sewing machine, go to a fabric store. There's always stuff on sale. You'd just have to sew the ends over a little so they won't unravel.

Are you looking for a real FUN look? Like french pink pussycat type of stuff?

It'd be fun if you could find an old pink princess style telephone.

Try to mix in other colors besides pink and black, white and lilac for instance.








As you can see here, there are all different types of pink....when you go shopping and find that one thing in pink you absolutely CANNOT do without, as in it's the exact shade of pink you want, take it with you when you go shopping for everything else....

That way, you'll know it complements what you've got.

When I was redecorating a room, I would carry a big beach bag with me, with some cloth swatches, a soap dispenser I liked, paint chips, a favorite nick knack I knew I'd keep forever....then, when I saw something, I hold it up to my stuff. It's a real feeling of accomplishment.
