@roger,
You don't ever have the inclination to check out how a particular issue is covered by different media outlets, Roger? I find it quite enlightening.

@spendius,
Sure have spendi, received more rain this winter than we have bargained for, everything is lush and green at the moment, and our water reservoirs are almost full. Australia's main river, the Murray, is still a great concern though.

Can someone sacrifice a goat or a virgin or something please?

Floods in Tassie, earthquake in Victoria, duststorms in NSW, fires in QLD. It would appear therainbow serpent is pissed at something.

Oh a few sudden downpours today, Dutchy, every time I tried to venture out for may daily walk. But, hey, I'm not complaining. For obvious reasons.

@msolga,
I saw that duststorm on our News. I was once in a similar event which lasted three days. It was terrible. What it was like to inhabitants of a modern metropolis I can't imagine.

@spendius,
Blown all over Spendi, life is back to normal, apart from cleaning up. Car washes did a roaring business with cars lined up for streets. Smile

AFL Grand Final day in Melbourne. And it's going to be a freezing cold one. A top temperature of only 14 C predicted, with heavy rain & a distinct possibility of hail this afternoon, as well. Brrrrrr! (I'm typing this with frozen fingers.) I think I'd better get my dishes washed & head off for my daily galloping walk before the skies open!

@msolga,
Which team are you following msolga, the Saints or the Cats? I think you're getting our weather from yesterday, cold, windy with rain and hail. Still raining here at present. Enjoy your Johnny Howard 'power walk'. Laughing

@Dutchy,
I'd like the Saints to win today, Dutchy.

Thanks, I will.

And don't laugh about the power walking stuff, Mr Smarty Pants! I'm a danger on the footpaths & roads of my suburb, I tell you! "Here she comes again! Watch out!" mere strollers shriek in alarm, when they hear/see me coming!... & swiftly jump out of my way, to avoid being mowed down. Smile
