@Izzie,
I just found your earlier post, Iz. How did I miss it this morning?
Quote:... it is a fantastic game - ooooooooooooh... can't begin to describe the excitement watching the game - tremendous skill, power and strength and on the whole, good sportsmanship - gentlemanly - tho on the pict can be quite hard to watch at times - brutes... BRUTES... and lots of cauliflower ears!
OK, listening, listening ... somewhat sceptically, but listening ....
So it's a gentlemanly game with lots of violence thrown in?
Quote:Jonny... oh my Jonny <sigh>
and Joost van der Westhuizen (SA) <sighs again> - tho he went a little errrrrrr.... off the rails when he stopped playing!
Who are these people, Iz? You're going to have to post pictures!
In Oz they tend to be short & sorta stumpy, with thickish necks. (And they fall over a lot, on top of each other, in packs. They don't appear to do much else on the field.

) Oz Rules players look like Greek gods by comparison.
I will go off to that Wikipedia link & read the rules now, Iz.
Honestly, if it was anyone else who'd posted this I'd think they were having me on!
