Dilemma in kitchen design

Looking for an innovative solution to this dilemma: I am designing a kitchen for a client that would like an extra deep cooktop for cooking with large pots. The only solution that I could come up with is to put it in the corner, but since that corner has a deep niche, I wanted to place an appliance garage there. Any ideas how I can place a deep range on a regular depth countertop?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
