And anyway I don't care what gun-toting people do on Twitter, as I do not have a Twitter account, nor a Facebook account. And no, I'm not "too stupid" to set one up. I spent hours of my life scrolling through crap, mostly from Tasty and its dumb recipes, quite a few ads for leftist crap despite me actively trying to filter posts and updates, and finally I got fed up around the time they were talking about how Facebook and Google are security risks. I spent a day and half undoing my Gmail, Youtube, and Facebook accounts. I spent quite a bit untying all the widgets and other hooks there were in my Gmail account from various sites. I have never gone back.

For the record, I stayed with a conservative family, far more than my own when I was out west. This involved working on their farm.
This is what they did:
* Went to an evangelical church (I'm Methodist/Episcopal)
* Worked on their farm.
* Cooked food for themselves (and me)
* They went to the bank
* They homeschooled kids in the Bible, and read it themselves
* They shopped at Costco
In other words, they were boring, not violent. And these were the most conservative people I've ever met, since they literally had a wedding that had a fire and brimstone sermon.

This was despite me being a slightly left of center punk kid a few years out of college. No they didn't shoot me. No, they didn't even threaten me. They were regular people.
In comparison, staying with my sister? Typically, she wouldn't even let me board at her house when I had nowhere to go. For no good reason, I had to pay $200-$300 for an apartment I didn't even want and couldn't afford. She's a control freak to her kids, and an unpleasant person that I usually can't talk to. She's only chilled recently.
I typically found a similar experience with most members of the left. They don't agree to be civil during meetups for Thanksgiving and Christmas, they create drama wherever they go, and they are stupid awful people. Typically, nowadays if you want to enter the house of a liberal, they will expect you to mask up or check your vaccine. It's insane. I had visited one for work, and she let me stay all of 15 minutes before she decided things weren't working out. She literally sprayed my hands with disinfectant goop at the door. You guys think you are tolerant and that conservatives are violent. Actually, it's closer to the opposite. Most conservatives are not even willing to speak up when leftists call them violent, only pursuing action at the voting booth.
