Perfect. Me too.

Did anyone mention how Dag downed those two Manhattans in about ten minutes and they didn't even seem to have any affect (or is it "effect"?) on her at all? The girl can drink.

Yup, I'm totally out of room at MSN - even after setting up 3 alter egos.

Once these are loaded (yes, I'm doing it one at a time - I want them to stay in order for now), I'm going to move some to a blog, and work on words to accompany them.

The really tedious part was yesterday. Uploaded over 350 pix, edited and labelled them. Picked the 250+ that are keepers, or that I want to do more picture editing stuff with.

Dag, they are all liquor. That's the equivalent of four or five shots or so, isn't it?

Maybe they were smaller than I'm remembering...

nah, there's one shot of liquor in most drinks - unless you know the bartender. Some shots are a little bigger than others.

Manhattans are all liquor though, littlek. There's nothing in there that isn't at least 80 proof, and the glasses they came in were much bigger than a shot, weren't they? But, whatever...

It was a shot poured over ice. The bourbon is mixed with some vermooth and a little cherry juice (sometimes). I'd say it was a straight shot of hard liquor.

Okay, well, the vermouth is only like 40 proof, but still...

It's two parts whiskey, one part sweet vermouth. Isn't a part equal to a shot?

parts are just that, equal parts - it could be one teaspoon vermooth and 2 teaspoons whiskey

In light of Dag's new post, I take back my concession post. An ounce is a shot, unless I'm mistaken, which makes me...what's the word...oh yeah...right!

how much is an oz? you people are driving me nuts with those silly measurements: pounds, feet, yards, fahrenheits... grow up already and get on board with the metric system where everything is measured in tens and hundreds! not twelves and whatnots, that cannot be multiplied or divided easily. grrrrrrrr. how many mililiters is that?!?! tell me that.
