Don't worry, there's some guy on every corner selling them when it's raining. I'd say ten bucks should cover it easily.

Ten bucks? The last time I bought an umbrella from a street vendor in Manhattan, he asked for $5, and agreed to take $3. Of course, that was some time back in Jimmy Carter's presidency ...

A light coat is a good idea........but not necessarily a rain coat. Light weight wool has been handy in the late afternoon around here the last few days. But do bring an unbrella, but keep in mind that when you.........I mean.........actually need it, it will be back at the room and if you don't need it, you'll wag it along for hours all day, only to have to put on your sunglasses and worry about sun screen. So.............make it a light weight unbrella. This is happening tomorrow. This will be fun; lookin forward to it............
