Dag, what do we do with the car in NYC? Will we park it in a commuter lot in CT?

So it's Saturday for Lola and Bernie's place? What time would everyone like? Since little k and Dagmaraka are coming for the day, maybe we should work toward an afternoon/evening time. What does everyone say?

Good for me at any time. I'll be in on Friday also. Nancy will be with me on Saturday.

I've been meaning to post a link to this cool website for a while:

New York Songlines

If you click on the link for any of the streets listed on the home page (which, so far, only go up to 42nd Street), you'll be taken to a "virtual walk" of that street, complete with an explanation of how the street got its name, and comments about the history of the buildings on the street, who used to live in them, etc. It appears to be pretty up-to-date: the "walk" for Hudson Street already shows Jacques Torres Chocolate Haven, which opened late last year, at 350 Hudson.

Hmm, I think there's an article in today's or yesterday's NYTimes about an old plan for 42nd Street as a pedestrian mall being resuscitated...

I would just like to say that if Dag and littlek aren't coming for at least a full day, then I'm going to start smoking again.

Let it be on your heads...

a.t. newspaper article you can buy a new york city guide for your cellphone for a few dollars. you punch a code/phone-number for the street/district and get a running commentary(saturday's globe and mail). hbg

Come now, kicky, surely you don't want me to spend a night away from my nearly deceased beloved doggie. Tell ya what, how about I just take care of her this weekend and then I can spend a night down there the following w.e. What do you think?

Is it really that close to the end for her, littlek? Well, far be it from me to stand in the way of a woman and her beloved doggie during such a time. You've got yourself a deal. First weekend in May sounds good to me.

EhBeth--

By my definition of Right Now (plus seven days) in Eastern Daylight Time, you are still circling the airport. My broom in in the shop and I'm not going to fly up to meet you on a borrowed broom.

I agree that This Time Next Week is a very satisfactory method of anticipation.

Are we talking Wednesday or Thursday?
