looking out of the window at Panna II can be a bit tricky

annoying Evil or Very Mad when you're trying to peak at a film shoot across the street

we never did figure out what this marvellously organized demonstration at City Hall was about

a couple of the locals told us that it was unreasonable to expect politicians to just 'deal' directly with protestors or media - New York's too big to allow that sort of thing - two of them were quite strong in letting me know that the idea of a media scrum was just unacceptable in America

we went with the lunch special (much like the dinner special but $1 less) - mulligatawny soup, appies, then 1 entree each, tea and kulfi
entrees (l - r) chicken curry, lamb kurma, beef dupiazi
fantastic chutneys

much nicer than our airport picnic when we stranded almost overnight

oh how sorry I am I missed you Walter and gang! We're still working on getting settled. But we've finally made good progress. What a lot of work it's been!

I have lots of photos. But Bernie hasn't stopped to show me or remind me or ourselves or whatever how to post them. Soon, I promise
