Paul Finkelman, a professor at the University of Tulsa College of Law, was an expert witness for the plaintiff in Popov v. Hayashi.
Such a tsimmis about balls!
there's always been a "game ball" tradition in sports, especially baseball.
how many times have u seen a relief pitcher strike out the final batter of the game, then the catcher runs up and plunks the ball into the pitcher's mitt?
and why would st. louis want the ball that signified them getting swept in the worlds series??
menkie should do the right thing and give the ball to cooperstown.
that's where it belongs...
