How to Upload An Image on the Forum

Hi,

Could anyone advise how to upload an image?
I click "img" but it requires "url link". I want to post a screenshot of website, and the screenshot is saved in my computer. Where do I get the link for the image?

in order to post an image here, it has to have an internet address.

upload it to a free hosting site like imgur, get the URL, and then enclose the URL with IMG tags...

Thank you for your help. Previously someone told me the name of the website but I didn't understand what it is. I didn't want to bother her further, so I posted my question here.

you're welcome.

it takes some practice to get them to post correctly.

always preview the post to make sure that the image is both visible and the size that you want it to be...

I go to Imgur, upload an image, then click on ‘copy url’.
When I paste that in between the ‘img’ bookends, nuthin...

i copied the url to my browser, right-clicked on the image, and this is what i get (note the .jpg file extension) --

the image is too large for the a2k post window, so i scaled it down to fit --

i found an app called freeimage.host

1. just add .jpg at the end of the url --

2. i right-clicked on the freeimage url, and then added .jpg to get this --

I’ve done that, man. And then I right click in the box where I’m writing my response, click ‘paste’, and sandwich it between the [img] and the [/img]

That didn’t work so I added .jpg at the end of the url, and that didn’t work.

So what am I doing wrong?

that url takes you to the page that contains the image --
https://freeimage.host/i/me-16.FYh6Ol

but the image itself has a separate url --
https://iili.io/FYh6Ol.png

right-click and "copy image address" to get the image url...
