I had cabinets put in my kitchen and after the workmen left the icemaker and water in my refrigerator door worked just fine. But after the painters left it suddenly stopped working. I pulled it out tonight and looked behind it and nothing seems to be disconnected. Anyone know what the problem is?
frozen water line inside the fridge (mine does that) another thought, have you changed the filter? They do plug up over time. (mine last about 6 months)

Would that make the water in the door not work also? How do I find out if that is it and how do I fix it?
Is there a lock out feature on the dispenser? Check that first. Where does the water line feed from? Check for kinks in the line.
