I have a question about doing a regression analysis. My participants all have autism is it possible to do a regression analysis by using the 'autism' as the dependent variable and the other variables such as age, population, gender, language, birth weight etc as independent variables and then determine which factors predict autism?

@Sumari,
No, because all of your participants have autism, so all of your dependent variables have the same value. You need to have a control set that does not have autism and both sets need to be randomly drawn (as opposed to people who self selected for your study).
