Sketch the areas under the standard normal curve over the indicated intervals, and
find the specified areas.

A) To the right of z = 0
B) To the left of z = - 1.32
C) P(z ≥ 2.15)
D) P(-3.15≤ z ≤ -0.63)

@nanoah,
If you have a textbook showing the shape of the normal curve, that should help you with the sketch part. To determine the areas, you need to look in the table that shows the cumulative normal curve value by Z score.

a) Zero is the center of the curve, so 50% of it is to the right making the area 0.5
b) The left most value (z=-infinity) = 0, so find the value of the cumulative function at z=-1.32 and that is your answer.
c) The right most value (z=+infinity) = 1, so find the value of the cumulative function at z=2.15 and subtract it from one.
d) Find the values of the cumulative function at z=-.63 and subtract the value when z=-3.15.
