About 11 AM. He just walked in and started shooting. After a brief chase the shooter was killed. No picture, no ID of shooter offered to the public as yet.

BREAKING: Devin Patrick Kelley Has Been Identified As Texas Church Shooter…UPDATE: Was Dishonorably Discharged, Court Martialed In 2014

Devin Patrick Kelley has been identified as the gunman who killed at least 24 people at a church in Texas, a U.S. official tells The Daily Beast. Kelley, 26, was a resident of New Braunfels, a suburb of San Antonio, according to public records. Kelley was married and Kelley’s mother-in-law listed a P.O. box in Sutherland Springs as a mailing address. San Antonio police reportedly raided Kelley’s home on Sunday evening.
A LinkedIn account appearing to belong to Kelley describes him as serving in the U.S. Air Force from his 2009 high-school graduation until 2013, after which he briefly taught at a summer Bible school. On a now-deleted Facebook account, Kelley recently displayed an AR-15 style gun, ABC News reports.

Motive
Officials said they did not immediately know a motive for the attack. However, on Monday morning Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt told CNNthat Kelley had in-laws who attended the church. Tackitt said the in-laws were not present at the time of the massacre, but came to the church after hearing about the shooting

@edgarblythe,
It’s horrific, but we did get a “thoughts and prayers” message from the President who is currently debasing the USA in Japan. He was quick to remind everyone it wasn’t a gun problem 😳 its a mental health problem. It’s not as serious as an immigrant plowing his car into unsuspecting people....that terrorist needs to be shot and plus it’s Hillary’s fault.

I guess we are supposed to breath easier because the Texas shooter is ‘mentally ill’ not a unpatriotic terrorist. We can only be outraged when the killer is a mentally ill immigrant, in which case he should be sent to Gitmo.

@glitterbag,
To me it no longer matters the motive, ethnicity or ideology of the shooters. I see no reason innocents are slaughtered by the thousands and not enough people care to do anything about it, other than make excuses.

Ok, after hearing the history of the Texas gunman, I finally get it. Before you can buy a gun in the USA, you first can beat your wife, then you can beat your child, then, after you've served jail time for that, you can be court-martialed and removed from the military for “bad conduct,” and THEN, after all that, you can have an hour-long stand-off with police after you’ve clubbed your dog in the head - after which you are then arrested for animal cruelty — AND THEN AND ONLY THEN you can go out a legally buy the assault weapon of your choice! WHY DOESN’T ANY OTHER COUNTRY FOLLOW OUR FINE EXAMPLE?!

The gun nuts don't give a **** how unbalanced they are. No gun control, no matter what. It's possible to make piles like this, from American gun victims every year. But gun nuts don't give a ****.

"Gun control" isn't even designed to save lives. "Gun control" proponents just like violating people's civil rights for fun. That is why they are properly referred to as Freedom Haters.

The problem is there isn't much that can be done, short of giving people better social support so they never reach the point of deciding to go on killing sprees.

This racist tweet is factually incorrect. The NRA would never give Congress permission to pass such a law.

@edgarblythe,
You're fighting against freedom and civil rights.

What reason do you have for banning pistol grips on a rifle, other than the joy you get from violating other people's rights?

@oralloy,
Wow, I didn’t realize Congress needs permission from the NRA to tend to America’s business. I didn’t vote for any of those nutters in the NRA leadership, I want you to tell me where I can go to register. Oh and by the way, I own a weapon. You worship Weapons of masss destruction, own it for Christ sake. Everybody has your number, no point in pretending you honor the the entire Constitution or Bill of Rights. That ship sailed, go upstairs and ask your momma.

Well now you do know.

We gun rights advocates prefer to select our own leaders. We choose not to give you a say in who our leaders are.

That's nice. But what does it have to do with the price of tea in China?

glitterbag wrote:

Are you somehow implying that I don't own it?

Which part do I supposedly not honor?

Here you're speaking gibberish. I'm unsure how to respond to gibberish.
