How to remove a TROJAN safely

Reply Tue 4 Jan, 2005 04:02 pm
I discovered a Trojan Virus today after using AVG Antivirus 7.3 Free Edition, to scan my harddrive.

It discovered a trojan called: downloader.mikesit.b

It appears to be embedded in the Internet Explorer root directory and archive file.

How do I safely remove it?

I'm always sure that there are no stray hairs rolled up in the bottom...because that can make removal painful....

Just be careful enough not to drop any of the content.

I thought Trojans were supposed to PREVENT the virus.

Just make her do it with her teeth.

(did you really think you were going to get a straight answer with that headline)?
