Are there any FUNNY British police series (like Hubert und Staller in German)

It's difficult to find interesting and absorbing series. Even in German, it takes a long time to figure the best and funniest one out- maybe given by recommendations. So do you have any recommendations about British police series, which are funny- and that doesn't mean those incomprehensible jokes that nobody gets and that aren't funny. Please, please, please, nothing like police interceptors. Because they aren't funny and they resolve too many cases in one episode.
