Holy....that's actually pretty amazing!!
Amarula is one of my favorite drinks. I used to have it nearly every day in Brazil.
For those who have never had it it tastes like Baileys but with an edge (from the Marula fruit).
I like it best over crushed ice. It's thick and creamy so the ice really helps, drinking it pure is too rich.
I also liked a small line of it in chilled milk, or a shot of it in coffee.
I have also made smoothies out of it that I really liked.
Good stuff.
I just tried it in a glass of milk a little bit ago. It was great!!
Amarula
For everybody who does not know what Amarula is..... It is the best liqueur that you will ever taste in your life. It's from the fruit of the Marula tree in Africa. People in the States are not yet familiar with it, but I've been drinking it for years. It's coming from my country South Africa! Try this recipe. It is a very popular shooter in SA. It's called a "Springbokkie".
In a shot glass, pour in some green peppermint liqueur and top with Amarula. Really yummy!!!
