Two Threads: An interesting look at gender bias on Able2Know

These two threads happened about 2 years apart. Considered together I found them quite interesting... particularly on how the responses show the different way we look at gender.

There is a clear difference on the way that readers responded. In one case, the responses worried that the OP might be taking advantage of the homeless person. In the other case, the responses worried that the homeless person might taken advantage of the OP.

You can read the threads yourself to see which is which. I found this amusing.

Yes, I noticed that too. Much more sympathy to the homeless girl than the boy.

The girl is over 18 and the OP listed a bit of her background.
We know nothing about this homeless young man.
