Actually, a friend we had over for Christmas dinner, who is not particularly interested in politics, mentioned he had heard it. Bear asked if he was kidding and the guy said no, that he had heard it on the radio.
I haven't been able to find a source, either. But, who knows. I'm sure if it did happen, they corrected it pretty quickly.
Where I used to live in Rindge, NH, there is a private gravesite, on property that was once part of a local farm but is now off in the weeds on public land. The grave marker, dating back to the early 19th Century, indicates the person died on June 31. It's a local legend and a local conundrum.

No dear, he said they reported it on Fox Television that morning....
That sounds a tad onanistic...
Though - I wish I had NEVER had such a thought in regard to anything to do with Mr Murdoch...
