art mediums for skill-less people?

since I lack skill in drawing but strive to create worlds and characters I thought maybe there's a better art medium to chose?

you can adapt several sketch programs on yer cell phone to create some nifty looking "watercolor-like" scenes from photos, or a cartoon sketch program.
Its made for folks with beginning or no skills
