As I said on another thread, England played pathetically, not to take away any credit from Australia's fab game.

They deserved to loose.

And as I said there,
it's just HAGGIS, what is left for the British.

The drama is:

For the losers, it's almost a national tragedy.
A majority of the winners didn't even notice.

I take it this was a soccer game. OZ OZ OZ ! Smile

My daughters play soccer, one of them dreams of playing at a professional level someday. World watch out for U.S. Women's soccer - we are raising some real winners.

Bah! Football players don't look anything like soccer players. Smile Soccer players are puny in comparison!

When Americans accept that what they call "soccer" is the real Football, the world will be a more convivial and peaceful place to live in.

I'm afraid it'll take generations for them to accept that, in this matter too, they are the different ones.

I edited my post - apparently the one I had was from a place that randomly changes their IP address to keep people like me from deep linking into their site Smile.

By the way, I think Walter is trying to distract us from his own drama:

Spain 3, Germany 1

I don't know why the Poms were so surprised. We've beaten them at just about everything else lately!
Round of 16 Davis Cup last weekend, Australia won 4 - 1
Cricket - don't even think about it!

I know soccer football is not our game at all, but - basically we play sport to win! Twisted Evil
