Hi can you please tell me if this sentence is correct?
"Gregory, it seems that you are currently under the illusion that you have administrative control over me in this workplace. Please stop acting like my manager"
Thank you all for help!!
It's fine from a grammar point of view, but if this is something that you are thinking of really saying (or writing) to a colleague, I suggest you consider very carefully whether it would be wise. Rudeness and issuing challenges can harm your position.
@yoyoman,
Yo, myself, for what it's worth, I just loved it
@dalehileman,
I would have probably gone with "You're not the boss of me."
@Ponderer,
Good'n' Pond. Hope Yoyo can use it
@dalehileman,
How 'bout "Who the hell put a gold hard-hat on you?"
@Ponderer,
Yea Pon, like that'n' vy much
