SHE: I love you. I'm willing to do anything you want me to do; be anything you want me to be.
HE: We've been over this a dozen times. What I want most for you to be...is independent. I want you to do what you want to do and to be what you want to be...not what I want you to do or to be.
SHE: Okay! But I'm not sure of how to go about that, because if I do what I want to do...I'd be doing exactly what you want me to do, because that IS what I want to do.
And if I don't do what you want me to do, because you'd rather I don't...I'd still be doing what you want me to do rather than what I want to do, because you want me to do what you want me to do, which is...not to do what I want to do which is to do what you want me to do.
Right?

All the talks I've had during those moments had the woman's part so garbled...I'd be unable to quote anything.
And hopefully for you unable to say anything meaningful yourself.
