Dear God... A Prayer, A Poem, Typed Tears

Dear God,

Why do we kill each other and talk about others behind their backs and never ever see the side of someone's argument which is diametrically opposed to ours because of beliefs.

Why must there always be a motive behind the posturing that we see in global politics and religion. Sometimes it seems that each side is actually more like each other than different.

Why did you give us such power so that we abuse it and never mature to the point that we realise there is another way.

Why must we pay our leaders obscene amounts of money and live in absolute luxury in the main in the West whilst the vast majority of our fellow human beings starve and die in abject poverty.

When you look at us what do you think if you are there, do you think, it worked the great experiment worked, I was right, they screwed it up, next time I'll give them less so they can't hurt themselves so badly. Do you think that when they nuke themselves into oblivion, the ones that will survive will have less and will hold onto the basic premise of love and peace and understanding.

Is that it then ?

He does of course talk to me all the time, its just I don't always hear. She always listenes when I talk to her when I am sincere.

He was brave giving us humans so much power, its a shame we don't use it wisely.
