It's decided. My new bride and I will go to Capurgana near the Panamanian border on the caribbean. Our package includes air from Cali to Medellin and Medellin to Capurgana. Airport transfers. Seven nights/eight days at the beachfront hotel Almar. Three buffet meals a day. National brand liquor from 8pm till midnight. All softdrinks. Diving lessons (in a pool) and beach towels, sunshades etc. The grand total comes to $895 for two. Because we have to be at the airport in Cali at six am we'll stay at the airport hotel the night before and that will $22 to the trip cost.
Are you sure that you want to go to Colombia? IMHO, it is not more safe there than in the Gaza Strip.
I'm living in Colombia now and haven't experienced any security problems... yet. Besides Capurgana is just barely in Colombia. Thank you for the response. It's a sure bet I won't be setting foot in the Gaza strip anytime soon.
I read numerous articles about Marxist terror and outrageous crimes of the drug barons there. Are all these hoax?
No not a hoax but the country isn't exactly under siege. There are plenty of places that are perfectly safe to live or visit.
Pitter, Be careful, anyway. You never know. I always thought Bali would always be a safe destination. We all know what happened there. c.i.
