Is there some simple diagnostic tthatt allows me to adjustt my keyboard or, should I just shoott the old nag and be done with hher?
Its a 3 yr old Dell Inspiron. I am not one who enjoys going baack over my every line aand correcting my spelling errors. Anybody have any ideas?
just for giggles try plugging in an external keyboard and see what happens.
ahhhhhh, very wise . I shall do this as soon as I gett done running a model on the other box.
Maybe your fingers need to go on a diet...
(You gotta be one of my favorites on this board, farmerdude. I try to never miss reading your posts...)
with that diet remark , your gonna be one of my favs too. Now if you cant help me , at least go get some barbeque for the rest of us.
oh ****, I have the new keyboard hooked up and its working fine. OH GREAT
LALALA LA LA damn.
now husker, can I get my keyboard on my laptop fixed by someone ??
Husker- good
P DIDDIE -not so good.
maybe if I threaten it with a ballpeen hammer.
LOL! You can't type and I can't read.
I could have sworn the title of this thread was "My Backup Putter is Messin With My Head."
I'm thinking maybe you should take up golf. That will fix the keyboard problem.
I like to put some thought into my titles. No, I meant P_U_T_E_R. n, P-ewe' , ter.. colloquial term for a computer, especially those of the pC varieties.
Bear back on? or is he, like, hibernating.

i don't know what your laptop is but it might not be worth 50 to 70 per hour verse a cheap external keyboard
kinda takes away the portability feature of a laptop
i have a guy in town who works for 35 an hour and he keeps our system running. Its probably bad keys or some leftover doritos in the spaces.
if it's worth it to you take it in - for less than 50 you might wanna fix it
They have some nifty portable keyboards nowadays.
