It should 'autorun' when you put it in the player. If not, just go to 'my computer' and double click on the icon
The audiobook CD has become a bit of a thorn. I thought it was fairly intuitive when I approved it, but I've received a few notes from readers (or prospective listeners, as the case may be) who have had some challenges getting the thing to work as designed. Has anyone else out there, who has the audiobook edition of Vapours of Promise, had issues with the CD? I will pass whatever information I compile back to the publisher. I think they should add a brief set of instructions on the inner sleeve...
you were right, this does sing out. A somber song leaving much to reflect on. Awesome job!
I'm listening to the CD now. No problems.
Excellent! I sent Llumina a note suggesting they put a little instruction note on the inner sleeve.
Oh, and thanks for the kind words, mighty Injustice :-)
It was wonderful to hear your words in your own voice kelly, I should add.
Thanks Cav. I think all poetry books should come with audiobooks as it adds that 'whole media' experience. When I read poetry, I really want to hear the author reading it, so I came up with this idea when I was approached for doing VoP. It took me MONTHS to convince them to add it. Turns out, it only added about 75 cents to their production costs per book. I hope they do this with other poets. Who knows, I may have created a monster :-)
Glad you like it, friend :-)
It amazes me that it took that long, for 75 cents per book, especially given your charitable work from your profits. I thought it was a great idea. Good on ya for pressing them to do it.
Thanks Cav :-)
I forwarded you something in email regarding A2K and would like you to respond with your thoughts on the matter. Your counsel is important to me. Thanks friend :-)
You too, Ms. Letty - didn't know you were lurking :-)
