Hey, Nick. I wasn't making light of Tex Williams. If I appear jaded and cynical today, it's because I ma jaded and cynical today.

Well, Here's a formal protest by old blue eyes. Let's see if the FCC pulls our license.

Deep in a Dream

I dim all the lights and I sink in my chair.
The smoke from my cigarette climbs through the air.
The walls of my room fade away in the blue,

And I'm deep in a dream of you.
The smoke makes a stairway for you to descend;
You come to my arms, may this bliss never end,
For we love anew just as we used to do
When I'm deep in a dream of you.

Then from the ceiling, sweet music comes stealing;
We glide through a lover's refrain, you're so appealing
That I'm soon revealing my love for you over again.

My cigarette burns me, I wake with a start;
My hand isn't hurt, but there's pain in my heart.
Awake or asleep, ev'ry mem'ry I'll keep
Deep in a dream of you.

Hee Hee, hamburger. I can sing certain songs in a foreign language, I just cannot spell em.

I have been trying for ages, folks, to find a song that is sung by some unusual ladies in Brazil. (I think)

Perhaps our Canadian can find them for me.

Here is the phonetic version.

aye chopanakis, aye aye,
I chopanakis, aye aye.

That's as far as I can get, listeners. Pitiful, I know.

Brazilian music is great, but I never heard that one.

I think I would like to go to Rio. You can go on salsa-dance holidays there, and dance your ass off.

Does that appeal?

Sunshine came softly through my window today, but it was in the middle of the afternoon and it stopped me reading my book.

I can read music, but these lyrics mean nothing to me so I don't suppose the melody would help. But please send it on, Letty dear, and we will see.

Donovan;
Jennifer Juniper

Jennifer Juniper lives upon the hill
Jennifer Juniper sitting very still
Is she sleeping, I don't think so
Is she breathing, yes, very low
What'cha doin', Jennifer my love

Jennifer Juniper rides a dappled mare
Jennifer Juniper lilacs in her hair
Is she dreaming, yes, I think so
Is she pretty, yes, ever so
What'cha doin', Jennifer my love

I'm thinking of
What it would be like if she loved me
You know just lately this happy song
It came along and I like to somehow try and tell you

Jennifer Juniper, hair of golden flax
Jennifer Juniper longs for what she lacks
Do you like her, yes I do, sir
Would you love her, yes I would, sir
What'cha doin', Jennifer my love
Jennifer Juniper, Jennifer Juniper, Jennifer Juniper

Jennifer Juniper vit sur la colline
Jennifer Juniper assise trés tranquille
Dors t'elle, je ne crois pas
Respire t'elle, oui, mais tout bas
Qu'est-ce tu fais, Jenny mon amour
Jennifer Juniper, Jennifer Juniper, Jennifer Juniper

Hey, dys. Donovan sounds a lot like Dylan, and I like the lyrics to Jennifer Juniper. Thanks, cowboy.

Well, listeners, it seems that Dick's Whittington had a mild heart attack because some of the buckshot lodged in his heart.

In a moment, I want to check out hamburger's reference, 'cause I love Brazilian music.

Right now, it's time for a station break:

This is cyber space, WA2K radio.

As a side note to my Donovan posts, I don't condone his prior drug usage, or agree with his notion that he was arrested because he was a "victim of the establishment".

Still, I love how his music is, for the most part, very romantic and pleasing to the senses. This is probably why I've always been drawn to it.
