Like Chuck Willis and Buddy Holly, edgar. Latin George, my favorite by you was Shady Grove. Wish I could comment on all of your songs, but as you know, my way of thanking you is a thumbs up.

euroGeorge, Thanks for your comment, dear Irish friend.

Time for me to say goodnight, and here's one to go with euroGeorge's dancing.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, edga and everyoner. Your dance did not work,Texas, and I was sure that you would like Mario and Anne.

Today is Bobby's birthday, so here is a tribute to him.

@Letty,
Hi Miss Letty,
Loved Bobby, a great showman.

The latest (1925 only yesteryear) dance was great.
There I was, checking the volume....

The British Pathé site is a little goldmine.

Staying dancing.

@edgarblythe,
Well, edgar, as you know I love Mack the Knife by Bobby. I sang that once and some guy came up and said, "you did a good job with Mack the Knight."

edgar once told me that he had feet of lead, but maybe this waltz will help.

Hope everyone enjoyed Waltz of the Flowers as much as I did.

There is a very humorous tale connected to Waltz across Texas. Or, sad, depending on your slant. As a joke, I played that record on a jukebox, for my youngest half brother. He hates country music so passionately that he left his half eaten hamburger in the joint and sat in the truck, until the rest of us got through. I still don't know whether to feel guilty or laugh.

@Letty,
Loved your trio of waltz's, Miss Letty. All different, all great.

Love Mack the knife by Bobby and Leonard's song too.

Great Goodies sketch, always watched the Goodies.

Two from the Furey's.

The Road Not Taken
By Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Sorry that I can't acknowledge each contribution, but as all of you know, I thanks you by thumbing you up.

From Letty with love to all of you here
