My Bruins have been knocked out of the Stanley Cup Playoffs by their
arch rivals, the Montreal Canadiens.

Good morning from our radio station in Florida.

edgar, You Belong to my Heart by Jerry was fantastic as was Golden Apples of the Sun.

Latin George, That Gregorian chant was beautiful as done by those Monks.

Well, Today is Frank Baum's birthday and most of us know him best for The Wizard of Oz, but he did many more books. Poor Judy Garland. She had so many problems.

Another birthday guy and I really like him:

Two versions, y'all.

@Letty,

Hi there Miss Letty and all you radio peeps!

Out big band started rehearsing an instrumental arrangement of this song, which I'm sure you all know well.

Take it away, Mr Sinatra

That's a lot of songs to comment on. I believe Tennessee Stud is originally a Jimmy Driftwood song. The other song he wrote that most of us know is The Battle of New Orleans, made famous by Johnny Horton.
Freshmen and Lettermen are always good, as is Mr Sinatra.

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back to you, too, edgar. Thanks for the info on The Tennessee Stud. Pat Boone's song reminded me of this one.
