It's not a good contest, because I am more of an Arlo fan than of the other two. I will pick him each time.

I suspect that the pushman is with McTag at Winchester Cathedral. Razz

We all appreciate your thumbs up, folks, and good to know that Latin George is alright, just working hard. Also good to have our edgar back with us. Love Golden Earrings by Bobby,edgar.

Going to say goodnight with two songs. First, for euroGeorge, this lovely lady and others.

Now, "the fab four". This song gives me fond memories of John K (yitwait), because he altered the "let it be" to Lettybee.

From Letty with love to all of you, everywhere

Theme tune from Slumdog Millionaire, from the only band that matters.

Ah, I missed Latin George's I Fall to Pieces. Great one, buddy.

Hey, pushman. Didn't know that one by The Clash. Once again, you sent me searching.

The Clash were an English punk rock band that formed in 1976 as part of the original wave of British punk. Along with punk, their music incorporated elements of reggae, dub, funk, and rockabilly.

"Straight to Hell" was odd, but interesting.

Love to learn on our radio.

Today is Boy Dylan's son's birthday. The first one that I heard by his dad was Lay Lady Lay and I thought it was about his dog. According to my search, it was written for Midnight Cowboy. Rolling Eyes

Here's Jakob.

I was shocked when firefly said that she had ME on ignore. It reminded me of this one:

Incidentally, I sang Ella's "I'm Beginning to See the Light" when I was in the 5th grade.

This morning could use a little brightning.

Oops, edgar. I told you that I needed a little lightning in our studio. Hurry back, Texas. Sorry, y'all, but those four brothers are worth playing twice.

When I taught, one was only allowed to teach the bible as literature. I taught Paradise Lost from Genesis and it was about Adam and Eve, and by John Milton whose birthday is today. I am a descendent of Lord Ragland who added the "d" after he moved from Wales to England. He is the one who gave the order to charge to the 600 who "rode into the valley of death". Just like Adam and Eve's snake, there is one in my family tree.

Today is Donny Osmonds' birthday, so let's hear a popular one by him.

Just a little personal anecdote. As kids, we would catch those bugs in a jar and put their luminance on our finger so that they woul glow.

@Letty,
When I was a pupil, the only compulsory subject was RE. The RE teachers used to love telling us that so they could see the shocked looks on our little faces.

@izzythepush,
Pushman, I'll bet that is more British patois. Tell our listeners and me what you mean. I'll add it to our reference book.

In the meantime in between time..............

@izzythepush,
Well, once again our "lovely bloke" has answered a great question.

Just found out that Bob Dylan's electric guitar sold for One Million Dollars.

Maybe that is why "the fab four" has a weeping guitar.

Peggy Lee was right. The rich are getting richer;the poor are getting poorer.

@Letty,
No separation of church and state over here, and as a result we're the least religious country in the World, by a long way.

Well, pushman. I'm glad to hear that.

edgar, thanks for your comment, and love the visuals and music to Tombstone Blues.

I had to check out Richie, however.

Richard Pierce Havens — known as Richie Havens — was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. His music encompassed elements of folk, soul, and rhythm and blues.

More synchronicity, Texas. Guess whose birthday is today and he's still with us.
Had no idea that he was the son of poor Russian Jewish Immigrants.

I used to follow Kirk's blog. I came to respect the man even more than the actor.
