edgar, I appreciate your comment as usual, and those songs by Jimmy and Tommy were great. Especially enjoyed the photo of Arlo and Judy.

Been having big problems with the equipment in our Florida studio. Hope this works, y'all.

First two birthday folks.

Bette Midler, and although this is her song from the movie, Beaches, the visuals are about beautiful horses.

Wind Beneath my Wings is a great song, letty.
Lou Rawls was a fine performer. You can hear him sing backup on this fine Sam Cooke song

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Love you comments, edgar, and you were right. I recognized his voice behind Sam's Bring It On Home to Me.

Here's a surprise to me. Today is Woody Allen's birthday, and here he is doing New Orleans jazz.

@edgarblythe,
I have always loved Ray Charles, edgar. You sent me searching on Tom Jones, however.

Sir Thomas John Woodward, OBE (born 7 June 1940), known by his stage name Tom Jones, is a Welsh singer. He became one of the most popular vocalists to emerge from the mid-1960s. Since then he has sung nearly every form of popular music – pop, rock, R&B, show tunes, country, dance, soul and gospel – and sold over 100 million records.

Jones has had thirty-six Top 40 hits in the United Kingdom and nineteen in the United States; some of his notable songs include "It's Not Unusual", "What's New Pussycat", "Delilah", "Green, Green Grass of Home", "She's a Lady", "Kiss" and "Sex Bomb".

Having been awarded an OBE in 1999, Jones received a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II for "services to music" in 2006. Jones has received numerous other awards throughout his career, including the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1966, an MTV Video Music Award in 1989 and two Brit Awards – winning Best British Male, in 2000, and Outstanding Contribution to Music, in 2003.

Ah, now I know him. Love this one by the guy.

The first time I heard Tom Jones sing, back in the 60s, I said, this guy's going to be a major star.

I don't know how important Hank Snow would be to me had he not been my mother's favorite. But I did like him before I knew that.

@edgarblythe,
I didn't know Hank either until I heard him do I've Been Everywhere as a commercial.

As you know, edgar, I didn't like Neil either until I heard him to this one. Now Laughter in the Rain sounds good, too.
