I have been checking out the music. All good songs that I already like. Didn't know the Lone Ranger song. When I was a kid the L Ranger was never to be missed. The whole family gathered at the radio to listen.
Not a lot to tell, Letty. I'm English - born and bred in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North-East of England but lived in the South for a long time - married - love dogs and music. I have a very catholic taste in music - Bach to blues, opera to heavy metal, classic rock, just about everything - and, of course, I have a special fondness for musicals - I think I've mentally choreographed every step of West Side Story and know most of the lyrics from South Pacific - both big favourites of mine. My husband is more of a Blues and Folk man - preferring the very early music in these genres.
We only acquired computers three years ago, and I started using A2K Lovatt's crossword puzzling threads in March 2011, only moving across to the games and chat threads in January of this year. Keep finding some great new threads - like this one - which I thoroughly enjoy!
Here are three video clips from Carmen Jones, another favourite. A lot of memories here - somebody gave me the LP when I was a child, and I've loved it ever since.

Vonny, how delightful to find out that you are British. Having formerly lived in Virginia, I know all about you Brits. (in your case, Britess)
Junior Parker (May 27, 1932 – November 18, 1971) was an American Memphis blues singer and musician.[2] He is best remembered for his unique voice which has been described as "honeyed," and "velvet-smooth".[3] He was posthumously inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2001.[4]
One music journalist noted, "For years Junior Parker deserted downhome harmonica blues for uptown blues-soul music".[5]
