Did I mention I saw Van Cliburne perform in Los Angeles, in 1964? Of course Tony Martin does great justice to the song.

@edgarblythe,
Great, edgar. No, not that I recall. Love Gene Kelly doing It's Almost Like Being in Love. Thanks for your comment once again.

I didn't know one thing about Brigadoon until I heard some great saxophone player doing Heather on the Hill. The vinyl was called Jam Session. No luck at all finding him.

Guess we'll have to listen to this jazz man doing the piano version of it.

The life for me
How I love to sail o'er
The bounding sea
And I never, never,
Ever do a thing about the weather
For the weather never
Ever does a thing for me!

Oh, a sailor's life is the life for me

@edgarblythe,
listeners I'm in the mood for some Shirley Eikhard

Shirley wrote Let's Give Them Something to Talk About. Most people know that as a song by Bonnie Raitt. Bonnie does a great version but Shirley's voice takes it to a glorious place.

Let's listen to something different by Shirley

Wandel, Welcome back. I remember Finians' Rainbow. Old Devil Moon was great by those two. Thanks, my friend.

hbg, The Arrogant Worms doing a tribute to Celine was excellent. Thanks for the info and the song.

Another birthday guy. Don't know if we played his music before, but if so, it's worth another spin.

First some info.

Thomas James "Tommy" Tune is an American actor, dancer, singer, theatre director, producer, and choreographer. Over the course of his career, he has won nine Tony Awards and the National Medal of Art.

Now his dancing song.
