Serbia? Fantastic, edgar and thanks again for your comments. Don't know Eighteen Yellow Roses by Bobby.

Here's a great one to match.

I have an aversion to Beach Boys. Haven't listened to them since the 1960s.

@edgarblythe,
I'm not a fan of the Beach Boys either, edgar, just wanted to match your Serbia song.

Love Mario as you know, and Nessun Dorma was excellent.

Going to say goodnight with two songs.

First Paul Robeson.

now "The King"

@edgarblythe,
Hurry back, edgar. Had no idea that Elvis did I Don't Care if the Sun Don't Shine. Thanks again for your comment, and I certainly know Stripes Around My Shoulders by " the man in Black"

More synchronicity as after listening to Mario Lanza, today is Enrico Caruso's birthday.

My favorite by him.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, Thanks for keeping us on the air and your comments.

As you know, I love George Harrison, and Napoleon history video was great. I guess you know the Russians defeated him by retreating.

Ah, The Inkspots doing Christopher Columbus was great as well.

Saying goodnight with two songs by a new face on the horizon, but first some info on this talented lady.

Jane Monheit is a jazz and adult contemporary vocalist for Concord Records. She has collaborated with artists such as Michael Bublé, Ivan Lins, Terence Blanchard and Tom Harrell, and has received Grammy nominations for two of her recordings.

First, I Got it Bad and That Ain't Good.

Had a better time this evening that I expected.

From Letty with love to everyone.

good morning to all ... and happy birthday to :

Antoine Dominique "Fats" Domino Jr. (born February 26, 1928) is an American R&B and rock and roll pianist and singer-songwriter. He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Domino is French Creole and Creole was his first language. Domino was delivered at home by his midwife grandmother. Like most families in the Lower Ninth Ward, Domino's family were new arrivals from Vacherie, Louisiana.[1] His father was a well known violinist, and Domino was inspired to play himself. He eventually learned from his uncle, jazz guitarist Harrison Verrett.[2] Fats released five gold (million-copy-selling) records before 1955.[2] Domino also had 35 Top 40 American hits and has a music style based on traditional R&B ensembles of bass, piano, electric guitar, drums, and saxophone

edgar, Thanks for your comment. Timi Yuro's Make the World Go Away was great. Love Phil Ochs' song from California.

hbg, I think most of us know that chubby got his name from Fats. I love Fats Waller, and Yes, It's Me and I'm in Love Again was great. As you know Mozart is one of my favorite performers, I remember Midnight Sleigh Ride, but not that one from Mozart.

Here's one from Chubby Checker that's a surprise.
